We love our city house. At 108 years old, it sits in a vibrant community that offers us the ability to quickly get to friends, local events, good eats, and the best attractions our city has to offer. For what it offers in character and convenience, it lacks any real space for our girls to play, run, climb, splash, and wear themselves out.
So we've decided to head out and explore open spaces in our city, state and national parks when we have the chance. This blog will allow us to catalog and share each journey. May we be rewarded with remarkable vistas as the top of each hill we climb, beautiful flowers in each valley we trod, and clean water in each stream we cross.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain
